Our Artist meticulously glazes, designs and individually paints each piece by hand (excluding ‘design work’ on Sunset Customs) meaning that no two pieces created are truly ever the same, with each one reflecting its own natural character and charm.
‘Handcrafted Originals’ provide a medium for CONNECTION and offer a unique reflection of the Artists’ own creative spirit and personal connection to the land, ancestors and timeless traditions of indigenous culture.
‘Sunset Customs’ provide an opportunity for businesses and corporations to support First Nations Art, Culture and Peoples in a collaborative way -helping maintain a connection to country through visual representation.
‘Ceramic Sculptures’ reflect our deep ties to the sacred element of Water. Adorned in vibrant hues of Black, Red and Yellow – our Sculptures pay tribute to the Aboriginal Flag. More than art, they are vessels of memory – each one echoing the spirit of Country and continuity of culture.
The Handcrafted Originals range draws from three revolving themes and interconnected cycles of life and ceremony – FERTILITY, EARTH, and SPIRIT – while gently carrying the legacy of those before us.
Our Artist pours spirit and heart into each creation, painting quietly impactful images from a gifted visual memory, while sharing stories that reflect both personal and collective histories.
Each Handcrafted Originals creation is designed on a 27cm round ‘Ceramic’ Plate featuring our standard ‘SUNSET’ background.
Our vibrant Ceramic Sculptures serve as a symbolic reminder of the deep connection between First Nations people and Water, highlighting a profound respect for the natural elements.
Each Ceramic Sculpture has been meticulously shaped and intricately hand glazed incorporating the identifiable Black, Red and Yellow of our Aboriginal flag – adding a cultural symbolism to these vibrant works of art.
